Real Ales and Cask Marque
There are several real ales offered at The Crown Inn: Banks's Bitter, Banks's Original (Mild) and guest ales which change regularly.
The Crown Inn was awarded Cask Marque accreditation in July 2008. This award is given to pubs whose beer reaches the stringent standards set by Cask Marque. The taste and appearance of all the cask beers must be good and the temperature must be within certain parameters. Visits from the inspectors are without warning.
